It’s all in a fundraising day's work.

Today was pretty calm day with the project. I met Sarah Hulett about her role with the project and made some calls.

Today was pretty calm day with the project. I met Sarah Hulett about her role with the project and made some calls.

But about 4:30 I get a text from my partner saying “are you at home?” I replied “yes” but he didn't say anything else. About, 15 minutes later he replies “can you get to the St. Regis Hotel, now, she’s here.” We’ve been trying to meet her, to pitch the Summer ’67 project and she’s at the St. Regis.

I start getting dress when he sends another text “she just left.” So, I take my suit off, when he sends another text “she’s back.” I get dress, racing out of the house and down the street I hear my name. Looking around, my wife is driving by and she says “where are you going,” I replied to the hotel (not a good response), I had to explain.

Now, at the hotel, I don’t know where my partner is, he’s not answering his text, really. Finally, I find him as the event is breaking up and I get to meet “her” and I think it went well. It’s all in a fundraising days work.
