Victims 2 & 3, Willie Hunter and Prince Williams. Both were found in the basement of Brown's Drug Store; believed to have died when the store burned down.
Willie Hunter, and Prince Williams were best friends. Neighbors would say when you saw Willie, you would soon see Prince. On Sunday, July 23rd, neighbors reported seeing them at Prince's house, 1734 Seward. At some point during the day Willie and Prince walked to Brown's Drug Store on 12th Street. It was the first day of the riot and the police were under siege as Brown’s Drug Store went up in flames. Three days later, the bodies of Willie and Prince were found in the ash and rubble of the store. Police reported there was no sign of violence on either body and the official report "death by carbon monoxide asphyxiation.”
